Talking Rock, Georgia · Above The Vineyards of Yukon
The Retreat
A modern mountain lodge in charcoal board and batten, black windows and natural wood — built on a mountaintop above the vineyards for groups of up to twelve.
Property overview
A mountaintop house that behaves like a small resort.
Yukon Summit Retreat sits on elevated ground above The Vineyards of Yukon, a gated vineyard community in Talking Rock, Georgia. The architecture is modern mountain lodge with upscale farmhouse influences: dark iron-ore board and batten, black windows and doors, a metal roof, natural wood detailing and large glass turned toward the long-range scenery.
Inside, the plan is organized around gathering — a great room built to the view, a kitchen that hosts, and a custom table where all twelve guests sit down at once. Outside, the decks unfold into two hot tubs, a sunken fire-pit lounge, an open-air cinema, turf recreation and quiet lounge corners.

The great room
Built around the view.
High ceilings, tall black-framed glass to the mountains, natural wood, and a fireplace in iron-ore tones with white oak accents. Deep seating for the whole group and a large television for the nights everyone stays in.

The kitchen
Made for the nights dinner is the main event.
Antique-white cabinetry, a white oak island, quartz counters and quartz backsplash, black hardware and a dramatic hood. Space for several people to cook and several more to lean on the island with a glass of something local.

Dining
One table. Everyone together.
A custom farm table for twelve — the reason group trips here feel different. Family dinners, wine-country weekends, birthday meals, breakfast before everyone scatters, and the long conversations that only happen after the plates are cleared.

Bedrooms + bathrooms
Quiet rooms, mountain light.
Approximately four bedrooms and three bathrooms in a calm, warm palette — white oak, cream linens, black fixtures. Exact bed configurations will be published here before opening rather than guessed at now.

Indoor entertainment
Rainy day? Good.
Large-screen viewing, games and recreation space, and lounge seating spread across more than one room — so a group of twelve isn't stacked onto one sofa. The house was designed so staying home still feels like part of the vacation.

Decks + outdoor living
Living rooms that happen to be outside.
Expansive decks oriented toward the scenery: morning coffee over fog in the valleys, sunset wine above the vine rows, and a covered outdoor living area with fireplace and television for when the weather turns.

Two hot tubs
No taking turns.
Two hot tubs set into the deck environment, both facing the mountains and vineyards. Steam at dusk, warm deck lighting, cool fall air — the part of the trip everyone reschedules their evening around.

Fire-pit lounge
The outdoor gathering room.
A sunken fire-pit lounge with built-in seating for roughly a dozen, set at the center of the outdoor plan. Wine, conversation, mountain air and stars — this is where the evenings end up.

Cinema + turf
Movies under the stars, games in the sun.
An open-air cinema for films and games on the big screen, and a landscaped turf recreation area for lawn games and afternoons outside. Everything connects — decks to hot tubs to turf to fire.
